Call me a child of the '90s, but it's really hard for my mind to see how things would be if the government stopped spending and didn't have some programs that seem pretty important.

Taxes are fine for maintaining roads, bridges, military, fire departments.... whatever. That's what taxes are for. It's the pork projects and the dumb crap that gets funded with our hard earned money that people are so pissed about. The government spending money they don't have. If you were short on funds, would you fix it by spending more money? Why is the going to fix the economy then? It's giving money to research why shit stinks that needs to stop before our nation fails because inflation goes through the roof from years of spending money we don't have. Sorry, but it IS taxation without representation because most of the people I know, don't want these bail out and stimulus crap but our retarded government did it anyway. Sorry if I sound like a racist, teabagging redneck because I care about my country flushing it's future down the drain. This anger isn't going to go away if you mock it, it will only grow and grow until people do start showing up the steps of the capitol with guns. And then we are all going to wish that our representatives had listened a little more and spent a lot less.
