GUN SAFETY
OK, I'm not an admin but I've been biting my tonque for a while now. I've seen some crappy BASIC firearms safety out there for some time now. I use the term firearm since that is what these toys represent. What you practice on these toys WILL translate to the real deal. (if someone is stupid enough to take you shooting)

Im taking the gun safety class this summer so I can go hunting with my dad.

The standardized 4 rules. They always apply. Even in a gunfight.

1 thing ive learned thats easy to remember is to pretend theres a laser in your barrel and if you point it at anything it will get cut off.

I usually just let my gun hang down until I see something to shoot.

Good rules for ensuring you and everyone around you are safe. Thanks for spending the time posting them up.
Gun control is not Crime control.
I totally agree with you. A little airsoft get together I was at a while back resulted in me getting shot right bellow the eye due to what the ahole called a misfire. We were eating lunch in the "safety ON" area. Idiot didn't clear his weapon. I wasn't able to see anything but blur in that eye for one or two days. Lol now I wear sunglasses everywhere at the games because a little higher and I could have one glass eye.
some of the worst gun safety/handling i've seen at a field to date was at Ft. Ord with the Army Recruiters table.
Lets not base our opinions on recruiters who, if they never had been on a line, have been away for so long that they become idiots who just want to tell you the "cool" shit about the military, and some dumbass recruits who will probly go on to be cooks.

just a follow up as to why you should always treat a weapon as it is loaded

Thanks for the post I think that it should be filed under the Rules. I wish every person out there would learn these rules. Multiple times out in the field (airsoft)(and a few times at the shooting range) I have had to push away barrels because people think just cause the mag is out it isn't loaded. I had to learn that rule the hard way I handed a guy my airsoft shotgun and he saw the mag was out and pointed at me from like 2ft and it went off.
It's not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog.
These all apply even in a gunfight(airsoft game).

every time i go the Ukau i encounter some players who NEVER pay any attention to what they are doing and i (or my dad) end up havig a muzzle 6 inches from my face.
