gun won't fire

hey my dboyi M4 will not fire makes a clicking noise similar to a car without a charged battery and im not sure if it is because the battery is bador it is jammed i have tried to unjam it with the unjamming rod

maybe the gears are grinding. did you open it up yet?

check valve adjustment, replace the plugs and report back.

i haven't opened it up yet i have never worked on an aeg before

Take it to a shop. Without any prior experience, opening a malfunctioning gearbox is a recipe for disaster.

i some how fixed it by messing with the fire selector and dry firing but no bb came out why would that be

no i did not have a mag in there when i was "dry firing" my gun that is why i said i was dry firing my gun
