That was my whole point. The grenades are not legal and yet criminals manage to get them. So banning those oh so evil assult rifles (and almost all gun control) is going to have about the same effect. The bad guys have them and we don't.

you can own any of them with a few minor modifications to the stock/mag well/fire control group . Ironically enough the only iffy one is the auto loading pistol depending on if its on the drop test list or not.

Us Border Patrol and another Federal LEO found a tunnel that went from near San Diego to somewhere in Mexico. It was speculated that the tunnel was to smuggle drugs and other contraband into the country. But now we see that it was also used to smuggle firearms and airsoft equipment into mexico as well.
