TM 1911 problem

May 9, 2009 5:34pm
so yesterday i was training in the roseville shoothouse and i was about to light up a suspect after he killed PINKFLAMINGO and my gun jammed so i tappped and racked it and tried to fire but it still didnt work so i took out the mag(while in a hot scenario) and when i racked the slide again the loading muzzle thing stayed forward about halfway so i said that isnt good but i cleared the chamber put the mag back in and racked it and it shot fine. just now i racked it and the loading muzzle was just alittle more forward than it was supposed to be. any thoughts on what could be wrong?

you forgot about the 8 rounds i put into his shooting arm (only thing exposed) before i was "down" then you left yourself in the open with an inoperable gun.

like tanakaz said, lube your gun. Also, get a new nozzle return spring to solve the problem with the loading nozzle being slightly forward.
