ill probalby never buy it but is the top m60 seals model worth 515$. and i was told that the guns dont even have gearboxes to begin with and shoot about 220 fps stock. dose anyone really know anhthing about these guns internally and how they preform stock? also this gun has a type of a resivor mag where you pour in the bbs dose this have any problems feeding the gun at all? and last of all where dose the battery go in this gun?
nightferret, I had one awhile ago that I sold. The guns have a bellows system inside instead of a gearbox. Crazy rate of fire, but low FPS. You can either do the regular upgrade and replace the bellows with a piston system in it. I did that and the gun was shooting 350fps), or the more expensive route with the PGC gearbox that runs around $250 or so. The PGC gearbox allows the gun to be upgraded with regular gear stuff.
I traded my M50E3 to Glen AKA CAIN and he upgraded it from the bellows drive to the PGC type gear box. It made a huge difference according to what he was telling me about it. Stock TOP M60's are pretty limp IMO but once they are upgraded look out! I would steer you more towards a SAW though to be totally honest with you. I'm a big guy (6"3"/220LBS) and luggin the pig around gets old really quick especially in CQB environments LOL!! All in all though they are decent guns if you can get one for under $600 I'd say go for it!!
Yup, I have Bills M60 E3 Shorty. They don't Make a PGC gb for the M60 series :( , Or there would be one in it right now.
I've got the works in my M60 Shorty. Everything interanally is pretty much changed out using the ANGS 1j spring with it pushing .20's at about 350fps. Using a 9.6V 3300mah battery just rips BB's out!
Ray's got the MOVES!
