Take a look at this thing... it popped up when I was searching ebay for mini flash drives. Took me a minute to figure out how it displays time but this is defiantly a nerdy watch. I'd wear one if I thought it was made well.
I think I know an asian that could pull off wearing this thing though

it incrementally adds lights... Hours is simple, the last lit up light is the current hour. Mintues is in steps of 5 mintues with 1-4 on the side. Add the value of the last lit up minute light with the value of the largest value 1-4 light to get the minutes.
