JG or ECHO 1?
So....Im looking at picking up a G36K frame and I was wondering whos got better K's, JG or Echo 1?

Echo 1 is just a JG gun with Echo 1 stamped on it... or is it the other way around? Anyway their both pretty much the same company so their products are practically identical. Both function properly and perform well for what you pay for them. So if you want to decided between JG and Echo 1 flip a coin, or save up your money for a rock solid G36K made by Classic Army.
Also, if your going with a G36 series be prepared to replace the selector switch mechanism real soon.
+1 Echo-1 is just rebranded JG, cause Jing Gong just doesn't sound as cool. Much like LG stands for Lucky Goldstar, different from the company slogan being "Life's Good."

I've had both and I would say that the CA felt way more externally sturdy than my TM. Never tried breaking them to test it so that's just from handling.
at ehobbyasia they have a jg g36 with an m4 stock and stanag magwell adapter for about 150 after shipping

Just bought a CA g36c. first test is to see if it survives USPS :D. I love my CA M4 though because it survives everything I throw at it. Even when its pissing down rain that thing keeps churning out bbs. I do a full disassemble and cleaning after every game though. I figure if I treat the g36c well it will in return give me a long happy life of trigger time.
CA g36c arrived! Its got a lot of field wear and the selector switch has lost its touch but that's pretty much it. The gun is solid and worked right out of the box that USPS literally thew at my door. I am going to test it at ORD on the 13th.

Get JG. It's the same company as Echo-1 except it's about 25-30 bucks cheaper.
look for the newest version of the JGs, they are nicer.

Congrats on your gun. I have the same one. Of all the guns I have my36c is by far my fav. Put your battery to the back to solve that storage issue

I have a JG 614 and I love it to death, it is my baby!

You say to get the JG AK47 over the JG G36, but Airsoft GI rates the G36 a whole star over the AK (which seems to have the same selector switch problem)...
