So? We can't ban lightning or stop people from living in homes that aren't completely fireproof. We can, however, ban fireworks. They are DANGEROUS. Have you ever seen a kid with a mangled hand because of a firecracker? It's a sad and disturbing injury. And worst of all, it's not usually due to negligence on the part of the kid injured, usually it's because of a poorly made firecracker made in a third world country.
