I am looking for some goggles or glasses that meet the safety requirements for play and don't cost a fortune.

I have just a pair of workmens saftey sunglasses from Harbor Freight for $7 I wear at SacAir games, I tested at home and they held a 380fps at 5ft good enough so I got a second pair... I have a pair of actualy U.S. Army saftey glasses for games like Ord, or wear I don't know the people I play with.

I don't know exactly what area you live in but if you're close to arden mall you can pick up a pair of oakley goggles for about $35(I don't know if there's any other oakley outlets around but you could find them online also obviously)

If you ever go out to the fields of play, there are a combination of safety protection that players use. I myself use goggles and a replica helmet. Some people where goggles and a bakalava (however you spell it), others wear just goggles, I've also seen people where goggles and kinda like a terrorist look with a scarf around their face. I've also seen some wire mesh masks at JungleToy if you wanted to check those out. It's really up to you and what you want to wear, just as long as you protect your eyes.

"Sweaters" have it the worst with fogging, any moisture gets into your goggles and it will fog. Some people have problem with fog others don't?

Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

As for goggles, I had some goggles that I bought from www.galls.com. It was 20 bucks and came with a carrying case. DON'T get them, they fog up when it's really cold and you are really hot and sweaty. LOL

A good way to prevent the plastic from fogging up to to not have any. You can get a paintball like mask (which should NOT be used in paintball, not enough protection) that has a wire-mesh in place of the lens. Most also come with throat protection. Just search for "Airsoft mask wire mesh" and you should find one. Usually around $30. I would get one, but I like my paintball mask just fine and also use it the few times I go paintballing.

im affraid to use the mesh masks seeing how some BBs shatter on impact... dont want BB shards coming through the slits in the mesh. I got some workshop glasses i use. tested them multiple times with 530fps aps and they are fine...
