i agree but i think an admin needs to contact him in pm, spell out exactly what he is doing wrong, give him the oppertunity to do right or hang himself and go from there. Chances are he will just tell off the admin, but we need to give him a chance...

I disagree.

His posts are all over the place. I think if he keeps it up he needs to go but a formal "hey dude this is what your doing, this is what needs to happen" PM needs to be sent before hand. Outline the problem, get some feed back and if it continues ban him. He has not yet said any one thing that is insta-ban material just a long annoying string of marginal stuff.

He doesn't really get under my skin as I either don't know him well enough or I just ignore his flame fests.

The guy gets out of hand. I've never seen or heard anything from him worth banning him over.
