I figured this should be said either way... My heart goes out to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department and the surrounding agencies. As earlier Thursday mourning a deputy was shot and killed by a Former Soldier.. Dont know the full story, but it seems like the solider snapped. Fireing rapidly into the door and wall where the Deputies were, strikeing one and killing... Again my heart goes out too this deputies family and his brothers as well. Having a family of all LEO's it hits close too home when a brother in blue is killed. Never a good ending too that story. God speed.
The Funeral is this Friday, unknown location. I didn't know Paris personally, but anytime we lose someone, we are losing a brother. Rest in peace Deputy.
Agree'd. Any Officer lost in the line of duty is like loosing another link in your family. Specialy in a way like this. Such a simple incident.... Turned into somthing major and also thanks for the update on the funeral. Hadn't heard much on it yet.
the suspect is suspected to be dead...they found his "charred" remains in the App wearing a ballistic vest and had automatic assault rifles, ammo, gas masks and police style radios...if he didnt burn he was gonna go down shooting. Was listening to it all on my scanner not to long after it happened. ruined my day. R.I.P Officer Paris and Mr. Engert.
Hey guys, update on Deputy Paris's funeral. It's going to be held this Friday at Big Valley Church at noon. The public is welcome to attend.
such a shitty situation all around for both parties im not trying to give him sympathy but to burn is a shitty way to go for anyone. and if he had a gas mask i doubt he died of inhilation.
