its odd to me, now the forums seem to be a bigger deal than sacair games. I remember when it was basicly just a support structure for organizing games, it has evolved into much much more. In alot of ways its alot to do with the growth of the sport. It has simply grown beyond the means of a simple online forum. New people now are looking to the older guys for ultimate leadership(as can be found in any large sport/organization) not the simple guidance found in a small format such as this(that worked very well less than a year ago). Case in point, I think its time to serious look at the future of Sacair. Get a universal understanding and agreement of where we are going and how we intend on geting there.

It's so cool that people who've been here for a month or two have as many posts as I do. I'm so happy that they show their intelligence in quick, pointless one line posts. Oh well, school is starting soon, I imagine that they'll have other things to do.

Funny.... Those with the highest "newbie" post count seems to be the ones complaining most about "hating"?

I tihnk alot of the PC stuff comes from all the little kids (13-16) who joined up and dont really understand adult humor. maybe an age restriction is needed...realisticly we cant be made into online babysitters. But at the same time I know many awesome younger players who dont deserve that

I think the influx of little ones is the crux of the situation, as far as the insane amount of flaming and post whoring that has been going down over the last weeks. If indeed they are here to stay we will have to head in a more PC direction.

I along with other admins have the right to delete posts. Had I (or any other admin) been deleting posts here and there without/without notice to the person posting shizzle, "some people" on here would not be complaining too much about the clutter.

I'd say i'm definatly a noob, i have what...under 50 posts, never been to a game yet (night job at a bar on weekends kinda kills getting up early sat and sun :P but that ends this weekend) but i'm a little worried about starting to go to games. I'm definatly the sarcastic asshole at work who makes the off color jokes and doesn't get all pissy when someone rips on him and i dunno how that'll be recieved on the field. From what i've read before and after i joined the forums the vets seem to be like that too but the newer people seem to be sensitive. Normaly i'd tell someone to shove it if they get offended by my O'Reilly watching, gun loving, racist JOKE making, non PC ways (yes i felt it necessary to cap, bold, italicize, AND underline joke). All i can say is i'd much rather read and participate in a forum that gives good help, which this does, and people can take a "Yo' mama" joke. Btw i couldn't believe $DjDeeZNutS$ got offended when Andrew threw in your mom to make his point that much more sarcastic...thats like someone asking "what are you doing tonight?", getting the answer "Your mom" and taking it seriously.

It's no different from a stranger flipping you off, and meaning nothing by it, and a close friend flipping you off as a "hello."
