My friend has a TM M4 and for some reason it started to shoot at 140 fps instead of 300 and the battery was fully charged, he's had the M4 for a while. any suggestions on whats happening to it?
Sounds like it could possibly be a cracked piston head/bad o-ring, broken spring, bad hop-to-nozzle seal (prolly not that much difference)...
Possibly double feeding. Most liekty cause by faulty bucking.

to get those replace, how much will it cost?
I hate to say it but it could also be a cracked gearbox, sometimes the TM's crack right at the cylinder head. Usually a bad bucking will loose you 50-80Fps, bad air seal on the nozzle maybe 25-50 max.
Look its a bird its a plane, no its just my broken aeg flying all over the place.

Hop up buckings are cheap... you can usually get one or two for around $10. I recommend guarder for most stock or mildly upgraded guns.
