I think it'd be cool to upgrade a CA sr-16 into some kind of sniper thing. Maybe shooting around 400 or so. How would I do this without screwing something up?
Getting to 400 fps is really easy with what you have now . Spring upgrade is all that you need for now ..... Getting over 400 is when you will want to upgrade your other parts to maintain some durability .
Yup, And while you have the gb opened. Replace the piston head w/ a systema poly bearing head (or other brand). Since the seal/o-ring fails on the CA's quick. Causing you to loose fps. And the bearing piston head will give you a touch more fps and lengthen the life of the spring. Springs will rest w/ a slight twist and could cause it to snap in half.
My M120 OT snapped on me...bearing piston head/bearing spring guide....maybe it was just it's time...
