Question! if they do decide to let soldiers use multicam, will soldiers be able to private purchase and use it in combat zones? or will unifrom regulations still keep them in UCP.
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.

Im betting that it will be like the DCU's and we will wear shitty ACU's during garrison.

ACUs actually worked extremely well in my AO. It was mainly only ours and thew few provinces around it though, very rocket so the greys blended well.

I still remember seeing ACU's when I got back from my second sand box trip. They looked goofy as hell. Then again after a long time of seeing DCU's even the BDU's looked funny. I miss my old uniforms. I really miss rolling up my fucking sleeves

The ACU's don't look to bad, they just need time to grown on you.

Quick update... one of the recent army times had a bit about a transition to multicam. I didn't put much stock in it till I learned today that TAD won't be making anymore multicam packs because
mc is beginning to become issued and made in at such a volume that smaller companies like tad cannot compete in leveling materials costs with the big guys producing mc.
Alone I would say that TAD is just getting out the short end of the supply stick with other companies producing more MC stuff and the part about it being issued is hogwash. But after reading the army times less than a week before AND seeing this I'm more inclined to think its a definite possibility. That quote was taken from TAD's facebook page today.

Interesting. This was floating around lil bit ago and some guys were excited bout it. With the impending deployment, my unit is still w/ACU's, which bummed some dorks out. Me? Just give me my uniforms so I can go work..the end.

dont take the Army Times' articles with too much weight, most of the articles are just tabloid fillers to get people to buy them.

definitely could happen. They are gearin the army better and better lately. There is a lot of media push for it. I saw a lot of articles about the mountain warfare and the IOTV and BS being too heavy. I can attest that it was. We had a shipment of platecarriers waiting at Bagram AB for us. well we did see those plate carriers.... Being worn the unit RELIEVING US. that was annoying.

;) well im trying to get 15T (blackhawk mech/crew chief) or stay 21B, but 11B could be a possibility :P
