Mp5k accuracy Problems

Apr 1, 2012 11:19pm
Lately my Mp5k has been shooting to the left, but perfectly straight up and down, I've adjusted the hopup as much as possible and I haven't been able to stop it from shooting to the left. Any ideas what the problem is?

Make sure that your inner barrel and hop bucking are clean.

My vote is bucking/nub.Inspect, and replace to rule that out.Under $10 for a decent bucking.

Ok I'll probably have to have AEX put that because when I tried it before on a past gun I had extra pieces of the gun leftover when I reassembled it. :P

AEG right? make sure your barrel and bucking are sitting straight. Sometimes the barrel/bucking will sit loosely in a hopup chamber, and the clip doesn't stop it from turning too well.

Yeah it's a CYMA mp5k AEG

well then there's only so much it could be. Nub, bucking, barrel/bucking alignment, make sure to check if your inner/outer barrel has any burs or anything that could hit the bb. my guess goes to alignment. i got the same problem with my gun.. barrel was really loose so it twisted inside the hopup chamber. So i wrapped the back end of the bucking with teflon tape(thread sealer) to stiffen it up, plus it makes sure you have a nice seal between the bucking and barrel.

Thanks for the tips guys but I probably won't be dealing with this myself considering my airsoft tech level. EDIT just checked it out the barrel is firm in the gun no movement at all but the barrel seems pretty dirty any ideas on how to clean it without dismantling it?

get a piece of paper towel and a cleaning rod and shove it in and pull it out. Lather rinse repeat as neccessary

i would recommend dismantling the hop up chamber. I usually take a alcohol swab and clean the barrel out, then quickly wipe out left over excess. One more wipe with a clean dry patch, then one with a tiny bit of silicone on it. But you can clean it without removing components..i just wouldn't personally, for fear of damaging my hop up rubber. just turn off the hop up and make sure not to hit the hop up rubber with too much force.
