Seems kinda dumb to not advertise a price... to me that says its either A) Arbitrary based on how much he likes the buyer, how he's feeling, or some other reason or B) Far above a reasonable price range and he doesn't want to drive away interest with the asking price.
... or the man doesn't want a bunch of people moaning about the price of his new masterpiece in this thread.

People know that these things are made custom and won't be cheap. Its a shady business practice to me. I don't know about anyone else but I never buy from a company that isn't upfront about everything especially price. I'm not saying hes a dishonest guy cuz I don't know one way or another but I wouldn't buy from any company that won't give me a pricing guide for custom products.
Point taken. I suppose it'd be easy to tack on a couple hundred to the price depending on who you think you're dealing with, since the price isn't set in stone on a website or anything. I understand why the business practice is questionable to people.

Ya I do want to say that he's never conducted himself in anything other than a professional manner here, no one should think RHF is dishonest... I'm just opining on the business practice of not advertising a price.
