got my new GB assembled and shimmed but when it came to firing it was loud and noisy, and after i looked at my motor my pinion was roughed up and mildly chipped, was my bevel too high?

im going to check the meshing, but the spring was just a systema m120 and the motors a amp high torque. So i dont think they were the issue, am i wrong? But the motor heigth and meshing were probably my issue i cant say i think i did a perfect job on them. And because ity happened in less than 750 BB's.

AMP hi torque motors have different cut pinions then other motors. They have the chinese type pinion gears.

I have never had this issue with my AMP high torque motors. Sounds like what snoopy said prolly motor heighth or check the shimming of the gears again.

It depends on what brand of gears you're using
