A&K Masada?
Anyone picked up a masada yet?

I have one. The exterior is nice but you canât run a sling on the stock. The rear BUIS is cheesy and the internals are true A&K style. The nozzle wasnât even machined straight; it looks like they drilled it out by hand. :( Upgrade parts are in bound from by brother-n-law and I hope to get it running for the 25th. It has a version II gear box but the nozzle is very unique (34.5mm long). If anyone knows where I could find a replacement please drop me a PM.

Yeah, the adjustable stock is pretty weak. The gun itself has a nice solid feel though.

So how is the Masada? Any changes in the last few weeks?
My Masada came in today. Looks good, but yet to power it up.
So Iâm having trouble getting 400fps out of my Masada. The best I can do is 320 with a full cylinder.

Is the nozzle you replaced the EXACT same length as the, i assume, broken one you replaced?

I assumed it was, I will check that

I would actually expect the newer one to be shorter given the problem. No hurt in putting the old one back in and seeing what happens.

I assumed a version 2 gearbox could use all the same internal parts. So I started measuring the cylinder heads and letâs just say I stand corrected. I purchased a classic army mp5 cylinder set but the cylinder heads are completely different, 2mm to be exact. The Masada/A&K cylinder head sits 2mm deeper in the cylinder and the o-ring sits about 1.5 mm deeper. Iâm going to switch cylinder heads after school to night.

Try the SR25 set. I have not taken my Masada apart yet but I remember seeing something about them being same as the SR-25.
