Is it really as good as most people say it is on store reviews? And are there any sites or stores (near Tracy) that sell it fairly cheap. Not like super cheap. But under the most common $150.

No doubt it's a good pistol. A friend of mine has it and it hasn't failed him. It may not be up to par with the marui MEU, or any other Marui for that matter, but it's a good pistol nonetheless. Plus, it feels really nice to hold.

Its a decent pistol, but I personally would shell out the extra $40 for the Marui MEU. There were issues with some of the magazines. Bad valves and such. Thats to be expected though, as this is a WE-Tech.

They're not interchangeable. The TM MEU mags are doublestack, whereas the SOCOM Gear MEU is a single. It's tough, I'm trying to decide between these two myself right now. I like the singlestacks and the exterior of the SOCOM gear, but I know the TM would be better in the long run..
