Well, from experience... You can find some awesome deals here on SacAir. Just wait for them and you'll get some of the great higher end brands like CA and TM and even upgraded. You could probably find a good gun that's upgraded, with a few batteries and some extra mags... I've gotten most of my guns on here used for a great price. Just make sure you deal with an honorable and reliable user on here. Ask around and find out who are the ones that won't jip you.

It depends on how much you're willing to drop on the sport. Go to a site like gamepod.com, airsoftextreme.com or airsoftgi.com and browse through everything to really get a feel for what you like. An even better idea would be to go to the actual retail store and hold some guns.

What I recommend that you do, before you do anything, is head out to Ukau's Field in Galt if you get a chance. The field fee is $15, and they rent guns out for the day at $15, I think. Get into some games, get a feel for how games flow, the pace, the intensity, all of that.
