Whoa... took a while to find this. Just goes to show had busy I have been... it's taken me this long to finally finish my half doors. I started way back last May and just now got them painted and done. :) Got to finish carpeting the inside/top tomorrow, but the major work is done and they look badass if I do say so... :)

F'ing necro post

Got ithe insides done, kept a little touch of the original doors too... although I don't like the orange very much. Going to repaint it back to grey.

When I repainted the Cruiser a few years ago it took a while to find the right orange to match it. It turned out it's "OSHA Orange". So... it's the same color as road cones.

Ha ha.. becuase I'm not very good at it to be honest. I don't have a welding cert and I don't do pretty work at all. I'm trying to teach myself how to do pretty work, but I'm not there yet.

It's an Army knife... but looks exactly like a Kbar. It was bent and dull and the blade was damaged so not useful as a knife and not worth anything. I took the blade to the bench grinder and smoothed it out so it's nice and round. I'm not that dumb... :)

Funny you say that, that's exactly what I'm doing! OD green on the grey parts, flat black on the white parts. Red "Toyota" on the back and grill. It's going to look very cool. Did a little test painting to make sure I'd like it last week.

Well, I combined a couple of my old threads about my trucks into one. So if it's a little confusing reading though it sorry. Been working hard lately though...

Buddy and I took the Bucket out for a little test run today. We pretty much smashed our trucks for a couple of hours... it was good fun. First 30 seconds there I blew a tire. 30 seconds after we were moving again Josh broke his front drive shaft and got to rock the rest of the day in 2x4. All in all pretty much great day.

Hey Ryan, is there any way we could play a game or two up there? a convoy ambush senario would be bad ass with your buckets and the Noobistani Mujahadeen......

There is really no easy way for cars to get down there anymore. THe area where it would have been fun to play is all closed now, really only the river bed is open and it would be a very boring game.

Well, I've been working hard on getting Elsie (orange FJ40) cleaned up and running good again after the fire I had a few months ago. Pulled out the whole interior and holy crap there were a lot of airsoft bbs under the seats and gas tank. Ha ha.. wonder how those got there. :)

Is there such a thing as too much of a good thing? I don't really think so...

Got the engine mostly together today. Few small things left. But damn it looks badass.

Depends on if I think you're safe on the field... I'm pretty anal about who I let drive trucks during truck games, basicly I have to know you and know you're not going to go bashing around at 20mph though the field and run someone over who's hiding.

After almost half a century of bouncing around, the weight of my spare tire carrier has done a lot of damage to my quarter panels. I finally decided this was the week to build the bumper I've always wanted and make swing outs for it to carry the spare tire and some fuel cans or an ice chest.
