yep I have helped make RTV molds for wargames terrain. We cast that stuff out of dental plaster but resin is not that different. That PPSH I had was all resin cast parts and it was really strong.

Ha, you are the one I figured would know about this if anyone did. Any chance you want to give me a hand learning this stuff. I still need to get a coat to you.

So today I went down to the hobby store in Roseville and talked to the guy. He's has the starter kits normally but they were sold out, he'll have more next week and I'll be picking one up. Hopfully after that I'll be expermenting with it a bit and start making M1 Garand handguards, and gas tubes. That should dramaticly reduce the price to convert m14s into Garands.
