I have no personal experience with the Matrix BB's, but from what i have heard they are not very accurate (as stated above also). This is usually caused by a lack in tolerances for BB diameter at the factory level. Meaning that there is a large +/- factor when measuring the BBs actual diameter. Javelins are very nice and easily accessible at AEX: .25g 4k count for $13.99 + tax.

they are not made out of glass (out of fear of shattering glass effects) they are made out of some hard type of un-shattering plastic.... poly- something

I've broken glass with normal bb's out of a low FPS gun. And I have personally used the bioval .27's to shoot beer bottles to pieces at 25-50 feet. And my gun doesn't shoot even close to 500 fps.
but these paticular bb's (clear .27 biovals) do not break or shatter which means it could go right through eye wear, blidning someone,
ANy quality, ANSI Z87+ rated eyewear will stand up just fine to .27's and higher velocity.

this is been proven how many times now? Fields ban them because they do damage to their property. I haven't seen them break through any safety glasses that are rated z87. They also do less damage to skin than regular bbs.

on a side note.....has anyone used Biovals OTHER bbs?

Yes. I use their white .25's and they work fantastic. Excellent consistency out of a KWA rifle.

After doing some extnsive testing and shooting today, i can say 100% that biovals BBBMAX should be ILLEGAL for use.
