I own the M4 with adjustable stock version of the sportline series, and out of all the choices i think it has the widest choice external modifications. Otherwise they're pretty much the same.
I was the "proud" owner of 4 CA sportlines and I will say, dude don't buy one tell your friend to save his money and check around for something better, the new classic army is total crap unless you upgrade them and the sportlines are a waste of money and time!

I got one back for christmas 08 it was an adjustable stock plastic body M15a4 (classic army's m4) andthe range and rate of fire were just as good as my brother's upgraded proline.
It's not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog.

I think when buying a sportline, or any gun for that matter, you should know that you can take care of it and keep it running good. and honestly it doesnt take alot to do that. Mine sits in the Orig. box between games and sees my backyard/garage like once every two weeks. Same for my M14, and i've had it for 2 years. I'd be very surprised if the Sporty gave me any problems whatsoever between now and the holiday season.
How were 3 of the guns total crap out of the box? What exactly was wrong with them? Why did you keep buying them?

When you buy a gun from AEX, they look the gun from top to bottom, test fire it infront of you, and they personaly go over the terms and conditions of returns with you. I have seen the staff at AEX do this countless times. They know their stuff and do it well. So sir, respectfully, I think it is on you that there was a scratch in the reciver large enough to make them say you could not return it. Because they WOULD NOT under any circumstance, sell you a gun in that condition. It is because they take such good care of their customers, that I will always go to AEX. And I think you will be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't feel the same.

i guess you guys have your stores and me and my guys from lodi to antioch have ours.
Bravo Team
Yea, all of our loyalties lay differently. I didn't mean to be so aggressive with my last post, sorry about that bro. Also, I'm not saying the stores you go to are bad, I've just always been well taken care of by the guys at AEX. My bark is worse than my bite I promise.

I live in Modesto. Crescent is such a joke. Their prices are outrages and I am positive they play with the guns they sell. Not to mention only one of the employees knew what airsoft was, and I was not impressed with their repair shop. They stole my hi-cap mag and they said "oh he must have it" so I go to this guy "Nope they have it for sure". In the end I was out a mag and no refund.
Don't Die, Suck Pig!
Not real keen on the CA sportlines either, but its probably like anything else you win some you loose some.
Look its a bird its a plane, no its just my broken aeg flying all over the place.
