But not for the kindness of strangers I would still be walking today. On my way home today my trucks engine decided to well turn off at 70mph on the freeway. Of course this was the day I left my phone at home. I was a mile from the closest exit, I know this because I was stopped next the sign that says "Applegate" 1 mile. So I started walking, about a half mile into my adventure a nice family of four picked me up and gave me a ride home.

Ah, sorry dude. That sucks. Try doing it at 3AM sometime. A few years ago my car broke down on 49, inbetween GV and Auburn. Probally a 5 mile walk either way. A cop drove by and I was all excited becuase he slowed down and looked at me and I thought I was going to get a ride to a phone (didn't own a cell phone yet).... and then he kept driving. I climbed back in my car and slept. I knew my dad would be heading out for work about 6 or 7. Luckly he did see me and picked me up. Anyway, point of the story... breaking down in the sticks sucks.

Damn dude that suck! I broke down in the middle of an intersection once and cars were driving around me as I was pushing my car to the side of the road engine temp sensor went out causing my car to do all kinds of crazy stuff like idle at 3500rpm.

Thats like the guy who crashed his Piper Arrow in a mountain side, got picked up by a Sikorsky rescue chopper and then that crashed as well.

If a bat flew in your face, its a sign. You must become Batman.

Ah! Screw bats! Those things are a bit creepy. About once a month or so one ends up in the house somehow and flys around all crazied. Never had it hit my face though....

If you can't find it: Pop the screens and open all the windows in the room. Hopefully around dusk it will leave on it's own.

my day was weird too on my weekly bicycle ride to Davis I was just about back on the bike path from road 32 when a wasp flies into the tongue of my shoe and stings me I reach down to brush it away and end up wrecking into a fence post at about 15mph
