Buying a new CA rifle will get you a much better quality product.

maybe the CA25 Sniper System.

The CA25 is not a sniper system. Its a V2 gearbox with an extended piston system. Proprietary piston, tappet plate, nozzle, cylinder, and sector gear.

Get a TM M14. They work, they VERY rarely break if you take care of them, and they have massive range. 5+ years and mine is still going strong.

If you want a sniper rifle, do what andrew said. Get a nice bolt action spring gun. If you want an AEG with good distance for a cheap price, go with a TM M14. Ralph and Mickey both have em, and they both have great range.

Personally, I love m14s. I have 5 m14s or M14 based guns. They are a a little long and hard to move around with sometimes. It's a nice feeling to know that you can out range most folks and is awesome for accuracy. Even my clone unupgraded ones shoot pretty good.

The marui is awesome, I wish I still had my SOCOM the stock hop was epic and I could out range serveral upgrade weapons, if you don't like the way the m14 looks there are several conversion kits for it now

I have one on one of my rifles, which is almost never used now. Andrew had to get nasty with it to make it fit. Ultimately regret going for that look. TM M14's are definitely the way to go. I loved mine, regret selling it something fierce.

I have built and played with A LOT of sniper rifles. My PSG-1 had the exact same performance as my CA-25 or SG1 or other sniper flatform AEG's because the interanls were basically the same. Besides slight quirks, an m14 is going to shoot very, very similar to a CA-25 with the same upgrades. Get the gun you really want, and the Kings Arms 24 inch is a badass sniper flatform.
