full auto problem

so i fix my hop up issue with my 416 and now I select "single" and it shoots single(cycles once, fires once) i select "full auto" and I get full auto, but when I select back to single it stays in full auto for a few bursts then goes back to single.

It could also be that the switch block is worn where the "ramp" that the cutoff lever rides on as it cycles. This part gets damaged when you pull back on the trigger after switching the fire mode from full auto to semi auto. Feeling any resistance at this time and pulling to hard, can damage the "ramp" on the switch block making the GB cycle improperly.

On your selector plate, if you remove just a slight amount of material on the part that pushes your cutoff lever this issue will go away.
