Airsoft Extreme has shut down there Oakland retail store, but they say they will be looking for a new store location. I wonder where that wil be?

Hmm could be a sign that the economy is hitting them hard. Or they want a location less lilley that will their customers stabbed, or it is a mixture of both and their lease was not resigned and they had to a quick move. Either way sucks for their employee's.

Rent prolly went up... noticed a lot of retail stores closing or selling due to property owners upping the rent / lease

I doubt it's the economy (as in not enough business). That area is a lot more populated then ours, making for a much bigger customer base. I'm willing to bet it is just a problem with the store front. Either rent went up or the lease expired and the owner wants a new business in or sold the place. I know of several companies that have been screwed, because of BS with their leases.
