Well I went to the Yolo Fair and walked around the game area.
I saw the airsoft pistol setup at the Alameda fair about 7 years ago.

I'm planning to move out to Huntsville Alabama next summer, and I was like, okay cool, I'll bet a lot of people out there are airsoft nuts. I mean, they practically give you a free gun with every Big Mac. But after poking around, I realized that rednecks only have a passing fancy with airsoft. Airsoft is supported by Asians! I might as well go out to Alabama looking for a huge mahjong community. Sighhh.
That same exact booth was at the Dixon Mayfair. I lost, and my 12 year old brother comes back later with a 9mm round on a necklace saying he won. *slaps self*
I won 3 times at Grass Valley's fair, twice with pistols, once with AK :) they just have a big tub of the bb's that have been used a lot of times that are brown with dirt  they like to mess with the sights on the AK though :P
