I hate hearing about the computer field sucking for jobs. I am 3 classes away from a degree in Computer Networking.

My dad works for Kaiser is always trying to get me into programming. If you know C++ or SAS, might want to try them out.

I used to work in the IT field and I promised never to work in that again...thus i returned to skewl and am now majoring Computer Science since there is still a demand for CS and not CIS, rather, high school students are being given ccnas and other certs and they will work for scrap so why pay someone with a degree more when a HS kid can do it for cheaper.

Hey, I work for the Sears repair center that is near the wonderbread factory of off arden way in Sacramento. There are three openings in both the parts department (wouldn't recomend it.. the supervisers an ass) and three in the E&M (Electrical and Mechanic) tech side repairing vacuums. The pay is 10 bucks and hour to start. It is pretty much mon-fri, 6am to 2:30pm. You might work a Saturday here and there. It's not the best but the hours are decent and the work is steady. If you are interested call this number 648-2440 and ask to speak to someone in the HR department.
