40 mm grenades

Oct 9, 2009 2:21am
I have a question to ask. What is the most high range and powerful 40 mm airsoft shower grenade out there? I'm getting a panzerfaust 60 and it only takes 40 mm grenades. So if you know where I can get a really good 40 mm airsoft shower grenade, please tell me, thanks! :D

From what I understand, the M583M1 has a larger gas chamber so you actually get a more powerful shot. I could be wrong, but Andrew should know which is best.

people say grenade shells shoots harder with co2 than green gas or propane

#1 The shell has to be rated for Co2

I have never put it up to a crono but when it goes off the bb's rip through the air while the enemy dive for cover. It works great

I use both green gas and propane. The propane is much cheaper, you just have to add a few drops of lube (No rude comments "SPOCK") to keep the O-rings from drying out.

I'm pretty sure that's the one that CP had at the Hill a few weeks ago... really BA. Massive range and if nothing else is scary to hear it go off. Plus, it takes a paintball CO2 tank so it can fire as quickly as you can load the nerf rounds.

Imagine it going off at that night game last week. That would have woken up the dead for sure.

I wonder if you can hook it up to HPA for a better consistency or do they need the expansion of the Co2

It's 400 dollARS though. I don't have that type of money :( its nice, but you know they still make slug shot 40 mm grenades that will fit in that. plus I really don't want slug shot, I want bb's flying everywhere. coolpanzerfaust though, if it was less money i would get it.

If you are only looking for BB's then mount a 203 under your barrel. If you want mil sim then get the faust for clearing rooms, or tanks. I wish I had one at Lion Claws this past year to take out the gunslinger tank.

Be very aware of the gas you're using on the 40mm's and also make sure the rubber rings are well maintained. I learned my lesson the hard way =/.

I checked the panzerfaust that hairy apple showed me and I got a question. It says it can take CO2 or compressed air. which one do you recommend. also if you get a compressed air tank for the panzerfaust, is it refillable?
