Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.

I'm not really an expert on Vietnam era, but I am willing to bet like most gorilla groups, the VC probally had about 1/3 captured weapons, 1/3 USSR supplied weapons, and 1/3 WW2 era stuff they had laying around.

Well, yes and no... I am talking about what they would have really used, but in the context of finding conflict correct airsoft guns to use.

Before about 1965 the biggest source of supply for the VC was actually the South Vietnamese government. The gov't would give American supplied weapons to the local defense guys. The VC would show up at night and say "Give us your weapons and ammo and we won't kill you." VC's with Thompsons, greaseguns, M1's and BAR's would be pretty common earlier in the war, along with everything the French left/lost, including MP40's. The NVA (or PAVN) would be pretty much armed with AK47's and to a lesser extent the SKS (mostly Chinese clones), since they brought them with them from the North.

This is a reminder, the Nam game is rain or shine. So be ready for both with proper shoes (no flip flops or bare feet) and if you think you need rain protection, OD ponchos for the GIs, and the hide of your enemies for the VC.

This will be one of many Nam games we have this year. Right now Wise Buys in Roseville is selling truspec knock off tiger stripe and 4 pocket OD green shirts for 10 bucks each! A cheap deal if you wanna start on a budget!

Still in either way but if someone wouldn't mind bringing out an extra green jacket for me to borrow that'd be great. And if anyone has an extra 1911 that'd be great. (unless I can use my sig haha)
