Operation Shining Express (Draft)
OPERATION SHINING EXPRESS
Sounds kick ass man. Just let me know ahead of time so I am able to insure my attendance. :D
JUST A SIDE NOTE: this has no planed date of exacution and is just a draft. I am going to pressure Chris to run it in the future, no promisies though. I just want to know what you all think and if you want to know more just type the op name into yahoo or google. Most of this actualy happened I used My creative license for some of it, and some of it well for get about that part of it...
I think that it definately has the ability to be a game we all won't soon forget. If properly executed with the right leadership, it will be on par with; if not surpass games like Ft Ord. Just need the right advertising for it, so we can get enough people to show to make it worth while.
Me likes...

Im still working on it. There are bound to be alot of hang ups without the proper planing. Plus there is going to be alot of stuff going on in alot of different places at once. If anyone has any constructive critisum (however thats spelled) spill it out Im all ears
+ what heppens if the bad guys win?
Hey, you know if you need some help with logistics, or planning I am not half bad at things like that. If we really want to get into it I can even teach some rudimentary land nav to the leaders of the different teams :D

No prob man, I am always down for imparting knowledge (as long as it doesn't violate my security clearance :D )
Thanks!

I gave Chris P (Weekendwarrior) owner, this scenario and he thinking about it. My field is way to small. I think some training would not hurt. I got my land nav down pat but some people dont.
Yeah, I kinda figured you were pretty well squared away on that aspect. What we can do is maybe do a two day deal; where the first day only involves the core group of leaders and anyone who wants to learn about land nav, or whatever we deem necessary to getting this done. Then on the second day we actually play the game.
If we do the landnav in the next month and a half we can do it on my field in lincoln and just give a small cert or somthing small to prove the people past.
That might be a good idea. I know I would be interested, especially in small unit tactics.

That sounds good man. I am up for that, I can even help teach some of those :D
Ill try to put it together. and See who is interested. We will keep in touch about it. I think it will make the games more fun
That's why I like running with you guys, it adds a whole new element, and pays off...

Definately. It is much easier to communicate with someone who understands tactics and land nav during a game, than to have to explain what it means when you tell someone to find some defilade and put some covering fire on that draw. LOL
Yeah John You just like to win... I know so do I. Hey Ill run alot of this stuff by you and your brother next time I see you.
Thanks Jimmy. Yeah I like to win, I like to win when out numbered even more....
Behold the Coolness That Is John
yeah the Game when we were out numbered damn near 2 -1 and owned somthing fierce will always stick out in my memorie I dont think they ever got through the front door
that would be Dennis's team but they had never played there before.
That was one heck of a game! I will not forget that!!
Behold the Coolness That Is John
