I want a new spring. This doesn't shoot very far. Anybody know a good spring for the M24 that wont send me over 500 fps?

Alright. Thanks. But the limit for snipers is 500 right?

nope limit for spring snipers is 550 fps, however you would be wise to stay away from the max fps, around 500 is good. The more fps the more vibration on the gun. also fps is not a main factor in getting long range. a good hopup unit and bucking and heavy bbs gives better range.

when my ak was stock, it was shooting 265 with .25's and had more range than my stock kwa m4. The m4 is shooting 400.
Wrong, FPS is the largest factor in range. A good hop/barrel both make a difference but not nearly as much as velocity
Ceron158, My aps2 is shooting around 490fps with a PSS2 M150 installed, 545fps with aPSS2 M170. Hope that help. The Cylinder set for your riffle is as close if not the same as mine, just a different maker (FF). Best of luck.

for that cylinder set its a great upgrade but if your looking into putting a bit more money go for a teflon cylinder.

aahh. alright. ill probably go with a 140 so it wont put too much stress on the bolt or trigger.

airsoftgi.com has no 140 springs. 110 - 150+

get a 150 and trim off one loop or something. a 150 should keep you at around 400-420 or so anyways so that wouldnt be too bad

if the 150 goes to 420 what would a 140 do?

I dont get it, how does a M150 only shoot 420fps? I have a M150 installed (aps2) and it's shooting 490fps.
