Hot Hands.

Apr 8, 2005 2:14pm
Has any one ever heard that some people put like an m120 in something and it goes super hot like 480 fps or somethin? I heard that Glenn and some one else ( mabye Kevin) had the "hot hands". Do you guys think its true?

Huh?? Explain this again. They put an m120 in a gun and it shoots at 480fps? I don't know about that... I'm not a gun expert but I don't think that an m120 would give you an fps of 480. AEX guys would know more about this topic.

i got a pdi 170% to 435 in my ak, same spring only did 365 in my other guns. depends a lot on the cylinder, piston head, barrel, nozzle, all the seals that deal with keeping all the pressure guided down the barrel. no other ways out, also can but spacers on the spring guide to make the spring compress more but that is bad for your gearbox. lighter piston will help becuase its easier for the spring to accelerate, getting higher piston speed pushes the air harder....

The most I've had off of an M120 spring is about 440...it was a Systema M120 Springg OT....I've gotten the same with a PDI 170% spring....

you upgrade your cylinder and piston?

most spring rates are inconsistent and so are the chrono's.
