its not a springer but i figured since it was so cheap its gotta be crap.....yeh ima sell some old games n what not try to draw up some cash as quick as i can kuz im really interested in airsoft......was lookin at g36's kuz those r german issued weapons and they look good....but im not too picky and like the m16 and m4 carbines too...i kant wait till i get a gun and kan go out on a field and play...been downloadin alot of videos and i really like the whole sneakin around in bdu's thing...used to do it when i was younger lol..

Springers were fun but AEGs is where it is at. I bought those sig P226 from Big 5 to start off with. They were 20 bucks each and lasted forever. But after a while when you see everyone else with their AEG YOU WILL switch over. It all depends on your bank account. As for price, sometimes you get what you pay for.... LOL BDU's I see paintballers with BDUs on also. LOL

I have the G36c and it is great. There are some cheaper AEGs you can get like the MP5k etc. They are still in the $200 range, but they work the best. If you live in Sac....try to go to Airsoft Extreme off of Antelope in Citrus Heights. (Right next door to Alberstons and across the way from a Raleys.) They can give you good advice and have a ton of guns etc....

I never really had a first springer gun to start with airsoft, i got one for a friend for his bday and i started playing around with it before i packaged it up and had alot of fun so i read more about airsoft and started playing, my first AEG was an ics mp5a5, it worked pretty well for awhile, but the battery was a real pain in the ass, mp5's are probably a good starter gun because they are pretty good and they don't cost too much, i got an mp5 off of here on sacair for 100$(with the high cap and battery and charger too), so just keep an eye on the private seller forums and you should be able to find a pretty good deal

sweet...never realized there was a shop round here....definately gonna hit that up when i have some cash saved up....yeh iv read in alot of forums that the mp5 is a good starter gun....but if i end up gettin the cash ill prob still get an m4 kuz it looks sweet and iv read good things on it...but at this point im not too sure and will find out as time goes...thx 4 helpin out

Best thing for you to do is show up at a game, preferably a big one, shoot some guns. See what fits your body, an M16 is not the best gun for a 5'0" sized person. And a P90 makes me feel cramped in my 6'4" frame.

im 6'3 so an m16 wouldnt be too big for me lol....but im really interested in the g36....since i grew up in germany i like german guns...but the m4 m16 and what not are pretty sweet too....but who knows...lol...i would chekc out the event if i kan get up there...

A suggestion too is for your first AEG get a gun that has a full stock(not a sliding stock), because the batteries can be a real pain in the ass and most take pretty small batteries compared to what guns with full stocks can fit.

If Im correct Germany has manditory conscription. So if you stayed in Germany long enough you should be very confertable with the G-36 or G-3 depending on your age :D . Get what you think you will be most effective with batteries are a Bi*ch but you can get around that.

big stocks definitly help. atleast for starters, before you learn trigger control.

im not really worried bout runnin batterys down fast kuz im definately not trigger happy....have used an aeg in germany before with friends and i stayed on semi auto till it came to the point where full auto was needed and even on full i never really held the trigger down long....

dont think Germany has manditory conscription... switzerland and other places do but i dont think germany does.

it sounds like you like the g36c if that is honestly what your looking for id say go for it. i have no experince with that gun but i have used a few aegs and all tm guns stock seem to have the same range. my mp5k and my friends p90 shoot about the same distance and everything in stock form. so id just go with soemthing that u are comfortable with and you really want.

AK-47 is the finest AEG ever created. I challange you to find a bad on the TM AK-47.

alot of upraged huh...sweet....too bad for ur p14 that sux....right now my dad doesnt like the whole idea of the thing...thinks its dangerous and that i kan get in trouble for havin the gun...been explainin to him what this is about since iv been researchin alot about it in the past 4 days.....im still gonna save up for a gun kuz im sure i can convince him its safe if done responsibly...little bent out of shape now that all of a sudden hes so against this when he had no problem when i wanted to do paintballing...but im sure ill get him to see that its ok
Apr 10, 2005 5:26am
If your dad is worried about the safety then you should come out to one of the games and he will see that we are a pretty safe group, if he is really worried about you getting hurt you can wear a tin man suit or something, you wont feel the bb's at all, you will just hear a loud PING sound when you get shot, by the way, how old are you?

Here is a pic of my G36c with the large foregrip and the vertical grip.

I am 33 and I have a 13 year old who will be playing. It is scary to see these guns and think of all the things that can go wrong. I take it as my first chance to show my son how to handle things that are dangerous, (much better then him finding out on his own under uncontrolable situations).
