check if you wired up your motor correctly. open up the grip and switch the two wires that connect on to the motor.

Shimming too tight, Maybe the motor adjusted to tight or loose? Just a few more things to check. Or take it to AEX.

again, check motor connection making sure that the wires are where they need to go. and shimming.
