The economy?
I was wondering how many of you guys are actually being effected? Big or small.

As a small business owner on the side, the graphic design business has suffered, at least from my perspective. People can't afford things like websites, monthly hosting costs... and therefore my client pool is dwindling. but It looks like it's starting to get better.

It's making my schooling and getting classes a lot harder than last year.

I can't say for sure how much is the economy.. but last summer I was looking at buying a house, this year I'm trying to afford gas to get to work every week. Working 3 hours a day, half my hourly pay as last year, no benifits. Yeah, I'm hurting in a big way.

im limited to working 1 day a week. ive been looking for more of a full time job but all you adults took them
Russel Crowe- whether its a skirt in gladiator or tights in master and commander, he can still kick your ass.
the economy has definitely had an impact I can't find a good paying gig in audio production so I am stuck working a crappy sales job for very little money
I am Dyslexic Bear with my Posts
overall with military as my future i dont think i have to be too worried.
Hard, Been Unemployed for almost a year, travelled back and forth to different states for interviews, been shut out by the Marine Corps and the Army because of my knee's.
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.
I am in the medical field and it is getting affected as well. Nurses at my work have been asked to cut their hours due to less patients to take care of. Less people have been going in for elective surgeries due to losing jobs and their insurance as well. Thankfully my hours have not been an issue.
Bad. I was a lab tech had over 45k invested. Lab lost funding I got laid off. My portfolio took a shit of 30k. Upside my old boss at Luigis gave me a job waiting tables under th table. The lab called my last Friday and asked me
I can go on and on but WTF. I am still employed, fairly healthy, eating and have a way to get to work so I am not as bad off as many others who are in the same boat.
I didn't get fired, but busted to 0 hours a week. 5 if I'm lucky. School is costing more and I am GETTING A LOT LESS for my money.
I left both my other jobs at the perfect time. 1 employer let go over 50% of their employees and the other was glad to have me voluntarily leave so they wouldn't have to let someone go. My new is job is busy and is proportional to the number of scumbags in the world and that seems to only rise. I plan on starting a side biz with the new year as well. $$ is out there you just have to think out the box sometimes.
You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos...How You like me now?
Graduated, Commissioned, can't find a job even working retail or waiting tables... everyone is "accepting applications" but no one seems to be actively hiring and all applications seem to be online to a corporate site so no one to follow up to. Only openings I've found are on craigslist and everyone wants 2+ yrs specific experience even waiting tables!
its slow as a locksmith but there is still work. hopefully it will pick up after the first of the year
5M in USACE contacts over the next 3 years. What economy?
ROP student work program at school. Finding jobs/internships is hard enough at this time, construction/construction technologies is near impossible. Well shoot, things are rough all over. (internets to anyone who remembers cheech and chong)
OH, don't mind Austin, we let him greet the guests, and then tie him up out back.
I've been at the same job for almost 5 years now. I'm on salary so I don't get paid for all the overtime I put in, but I still get a steady paycheck and I get to do what I love so it could be a lot worse.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
