any and all mags, in decent shape, brand doesn't matter all too much

I have heard, that most aftermarket 1911 mags are poopy. I had 5 of them at one point, now I have one... the 75 year old one, so I tend to believe that most are indeed poopy.

Yeah, don't know. Just sharing what I was told when I started asking around about all the ones I bent. I thought maybe there was something wrong with my gun, but a number of differant people told me most aftermarket 1911 mags will do that. And like I said, it seems to hold true from the ones I had. Maybe they were just cheapos, but still I'd expect the 75 year old one to have issues before a cheap aftermarket one... it's ugly but works perfect.
