we-tech GBB scar
i was wondering how i could upgrade this gun's internals.. i do not know a lot about GBB's so any help would be nice. please and thank you :]
Well, what do you want to upgrade? What doesn't the gun do right now that you want it to?

higher RPM basically, the rpm is a little slow for me right now
also, is there a way so that i can cover up the internals from outside exposure? because it is very exposed and if and tiny bit of dirt that gets in i have to take the gun apart and clean it.
Both are possible, but neither is available as a part you can buy. Increasing the RPM is gonna have to be a custom job, and not easy. You could make a lighter bolt, or find a way to make it so the bolt dosen't have to travel as far. There's probably some other things that I can't think of right now.

hmm, i was looking on the internet , somewhere that said changing the grease of the gun will increase the RPM but i have no idea what medium grade grease is or where to get it.
Don't believe anything you read on the internet. While it is true that using a lighter grease (less thick and sticky) will increase the speed of the bolt as it moves, any difference will be very small. The grease that comes in the gun is not nearly sticky enough to obtain any appreciable difference by switching to a lighter grease.

faster cycle rate is obtained through a lighter gas block

why do you want RPM on a gbbr? just to let you know thats HIGHLY stupidpendous, if you want RoF not RPM - get a AEG with a big battery, if you want a GBBr for RoF you got it for ALL THE WRONG REASONS. and no you cannot make it shoot "faster" (RoF) - only way to do this is to get an external rig to do so and regulate the gas goin through the rifle itself.

i think im going to have someone do it for me because i do not kno half of the things you guys are talking about. i just wanted to know if increasing the RoF was possible. And of course i do not want to waste ammo im getting a GBBr to ensure accuracy and to have a full auto gun.

GBBR's have a tendancy to be more powerfull. But AEG's can be upgraded to match. Accuracy, it's the same bb going out of the barrel. Accuracy will change depending on the barrel length and width of bore. Also the hop up will change it. But that's the same for both GBB and AEG. Tighter and longer = more accuracy, regardless of what is putting it down the barrel.

So the shims go in the valve? I stuck a few on the piston head of my pistol and it stopped it from going all the way forward and dropped the FPS. Do you know if the thing on the valve would work on a pistol? (I try to lower my fps when playing small games in the backyard)

lol, trust me, GBBrs are FUN - but you have to have an affinity for tinkering with toys, specially expensive ones where if you F up, it could cost upwards to hundreds to fix (i dont think i have been in that situation with any guns i have had but i have heard, known and seen peoples). anways scar's are cool....if you are from teh future! M4 < Scar =p in looks imo, and you can do a ton more with M4s, no offense mike, i like your Scar, i just couldnt bring myself to rocking one, tho they seem comfortable, i just cant dress them like the whores M4's are :)

yeah see i already have a Mp5 and a G3 both are AEG's and ive had both of them for a couple months altogether now, i like the feel of the both of the gun, but i want it to be more real, and Gas is where its at, but i guess AEG over perform some of the GBBRs
ALSO!! it is possible to put a RIS on the m4's that dont have it on correct?
