that sucks. doesnt really make sense either, I had to try for months to get fired, lol.
whatever you do, good luck though
I highly recommend being an EMT, you get the satisfaction of helping random people, you also will stay more or less in shape as the job requires it at times. There are physical parts but not bad. You need to take one semester at an accredited facility IE Sierra College then pass your state and federal exams like NREMT (or something like that) then get the ambulance drivers handbook from the DMV pass the test.
Hell Harry, you are already good at doing 4x4 stuff, look around for a 4x4 shop that need a parts guy or body/mechanic.....
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
I would have thought that 8 years at any job would give someone "weight".

Hey! Not sure what your job background is (Besides UPS) / what you're interested in, but I noticed you're in Grass Valley so this might be a stretch. I do know that UC Davis are hiring for a variety of positions that range from $30-$100k a year.
If you still like to deliver stuff you could try to be a city wide Courier? I am looking into doing that.

That is awesome. I will for sure be doing this. I had no idea. To be honest, I am not THAT interested in getting a degree so much as going back to actually learn stuff again. It's been years since I had any kind of school.

I was wondering that what drives you leave UPS?That need great courage you know. :dodgy:
'Cuz it sucks to work there. Bad. Plus, I had surgery on my shoulder and while I was out healing I started going to school and want to keep going. This was my last chance to get out of that hell hole so I took it.
