I'll be honest, I don't use punctuation or capitalization outside of predictive text. Spelling, I pay attention to unless I'm trying to send out a very rapid text.

I swear to you... I spell out every word... and if somethings misspelled, i cant bring myself to sending the text without correcting it first.

It depends on how urgent my message is, and if my phone can handle comma's and correctly spelled words. For the most part...no...but then again my phone doesnt display the comma splice or periods anymore, just a square. I do however spell everyword correctly to the best of my ability.
