There are more questions popping up about gas blow back rifles, so we need to get some concrete rules in place and get them posted. Discuss your ideas here. I propose: Gas powered rifles must be fitted with a locking or non adjustable regulator limiting the FPS to 400 or below.
they even make non adjusting regulators? i mean even johny has palmers and htey are adjustable, cold shot is ajustable. we could use a sharpy or something to check it
I don't know enough about them to make an educated opinion. I do see this becoming a problem. GBBr's will only gain in popularity and in a few years even more people will want or already have them.
I agree. If the guy shoots hot, we have rules for it's use.

If they are under the 400fps limit then full auto and if over siper role only. How about if someone is shot with a GBBR and feels it was more than 400FPS that gun should be taken off the field right away and tested if it is being used as a CQ gun.
If they want to use the GBBr it should be arranged like Rays, under 400. If the gun shoots under 400fps and gets approved, but complaints come in or suspicion of a tweek, then the gun is retest and or pulled from the field. No if ands or butts.
Add a temperature cap of 85 F and Fergs ideas sound ggod.
Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
I think fergs idea with the addition of Blain's temp cap would be reasonable.
Just let me know what the general consensus is so I can write it down to avoid making any further stupid mistakes.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
