I am thinking about purchasing a sidearm and couldn't quite make up my mind on which pistol to get. I don't think I know enough about the pistols to make a good choice at this point and would like to hear from you guys.

Well, we need a little more information on the guns, mainly who makes them. I know that several different companies make the Colt, the Glock, and the Desert Eagle. But as a general rule, I'd stay clear of the electric blow backs. Gas isn't that expensive and usually performs better.

For a pistol I would stick with KWA, TM, or if you have the money go with Western Arms. Other than that just stay away from the electric pistols, you will not like the performance.

western arms are pretty guns, too pretty to play with.

The model isn't as inportant as the make. There are a lot of 1911's around, and WA (Western Arms) makes some of the priciest and best made guns around.

Hey here's a new's flash for you, Gas isn't expensive anymore. Just get the propane adapter and buy 2 1lb bottles at Walmart for $4.12. Don't even ask about the propane adapter without searching information on it first. There are so many posts and 411 on propane on the net. But the adapter is sold at www.Airsoft-innovations.com

I will sell my WA 1911a1 military model with one mag that holds gas but doesnt cycle the gun and one mag used only a few times(basically new) to you for $145

sun project, you never saw my GBB M16 but it had nice ass kick and i hear rumor they are working on a AK47 with the same system.... external CO2 though, dont know if that bothers you.

hey dude i know what you are going through i had to decide which to buy, i have a super 9 sniper so if shit hits the fan i need to be able to use close range as well. I bought the Glock 18 because its 350fps, full auto or semi, blowback, and hold twenty three bb's i really recommend buying a glock. They are relliable and potent. Plus they cost a little over $125 so its not dipping into your savings or anything

Western Arms MEU or TM/HFC/KJW Glock. The two most reliable pistols I ever used.
