Wiring Question

Oct 12, 2009 11:50pm
Alright guys, so I've got a KWA M4a1, had it for about a year and it has seen some extensive use. I have recently replaced the piston and relubed the gearbox. Upon doing so I noticed that my trigger switch contacts have been burned, and the response has diminished significantly. I have seen this problem before in an old gun, so I know its the trigger switch. I would like to re-wire the gun to the back while I'm replacing the trigger switch. My question is:

teh arching comes from the switch being used, honestly all wiring/trigger blocks will do this, to get rid of that use a mosfet (i dont use one but only run a 7.2v lipoly) its recomended if you are going to run a 9.6v or bigger and just saves your trigger block.

The factory one is quite good and probably easy to get a hold of through KWA USA.

Ya what the penguin said, and since you will be using a mosfet your trigger relay will never go out again (from scoring/arching) if you can find a good silver wire set, can't remember if the KWA uses silver wire.

Extreme-fire fets IMHO are the best. He does some extensive testing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_3ZzTFfjVM and the best thing about his fets is that they are open source  :!:
