The M4/M16 has had issues ever since its invention in 1954 and deployment in the 60's.(holy crap a 55 year old design with improvements)
Look its a bird its a plane, no its just my broken aeg flying all over the place.

the real problem with USFor carrying AK's is the noise signature. It's going to tell your buddies that YOU are the enemy shooting nearby.

I read that out of the main rifles that were being tested recently (M4, 416, XM8, SCAR) that the XM8 did the best in the extreme conditions test. The XM8 has been dropped from testing though. Just a little fun fact. The M4 isn't going anywhere.
