What's up Sacair? So I want to upgrade my AK to a high-speed setup. Well, in reality, just increase my ROF to the upper 20s to low 30s bps. I've been doing my research, and I understand what it will take. I'm pretty confident in my tuning abilities, so I'm not worried about that. However, that being said, I would like some input as to which parts and manufacturers to really look into. I've read reviews and heard good things about SHS. They seem to be good budget upgrades.

I only recently have heard of shs, but what i have heard is good. And those look like some good parts for a great price so hopefully you get what you paid for doesnt apply. However when i was looking at that motor for myself (long type) people told me it was actually pretty crappy.

Not bad pricing looks like good quality piston head and cylinder head, if the gears are good too thats a nice find. I would however go with a supercore piston though especially if you're going LiPO I have them in all my rigs with 0 failures on 30+ RPS GB's

Yeah my brother runs the long type G&P high speed motor in his mp5. He has pretty good results with it so far. So I'm hoping the same will happen for me. We'll see what happens. I may post an update and review of the parts once I get them in and they are installed.

G&P motors are absolute crap. Id recommend picking up a SHS Ultra High Torque motor. That paired with a low end 11.1v 15c lipo will do just fine for your moderate looking setup.
