I was wondering what would be the best t.v. to play video games on (xbox) before I go out and look around stores I wanted to see what was everyone's opinion was, and what I should go check out. But please don't say Panasonic or LG. The reason why I say no Panasonic is because my opinion its not reliable, we have had 2 and they both broke down, and LG we have an LG 3d right now but its really not for gaming. and I couldn't figure out how to solve the hd problem on that. Thanks
I was recommended samsung. It's really great tv's, with amazing contrast. I use it for gaming and looks awesome

Only real advice I can give is to get one in high definition. Most of the games coming out now are under the assumption that high def is the norm, which makes it really hard to read text when playing on a older model TV.
It depends on a few things. Let me ask a few questions first

I have best buys brand tv its insignia. 42inch. I like it a lot works great. 1080i 90hz. I got it because it is cheap and some co workers have them and like them. I got it for 440$. The picture is good, qualtiy is nice and my direct tv remote works it fine.
I'm using a Samsung for casual gaming on PS3.

^^ yeah what he said about hdmi. I've talked to a couple people who know all that technical stuff, and the $3 hdmi cord i got at blockbuster is the near exact same quality as the $50 rocketfish at best buy. A safe medium i think would be a $10 hdmi cord.
